Social care policy in the new reality
What has changed? What needs to be changed?
The second BBinar will discuss the impact of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic on social care provision for older people, persons with disabilities and other groups with support needs in the Eastern Partnership region, and beyond. Basic parameters of “good social care”, like appropriateness, accessibility, affordability, and sustainability seem to have deteriorated during the last two years. Therefore, it is important to reflect on the status of this sector of social policy and identify innovative policy approaches and practices that emerged in the new reality – at home, in the community, and in institutions.
